I have created a portrait of one of the most important cities in the World. My visits to London were not long, but I managed to catch a glimpse of one of the most important features of this city. In my opinion, I have successfully chosen the state of the city, which at the same time shows its past, present and future. It seems to me that the river is the energetic engine that also drives the processes of information exchange. It is very important what the speed of the river is in the city, and the condition of the water. The colour of the water, the transparency and the mirror of the surface of the river. The name of the river Thames reminds me very much of the name of the largest tank manufacturing plant in Ukraine: TMZ. If you remove all the vowels from the word Thames and leave only the consonants, you will have TMZ. But if the plant in Kharkov in Ukraine produced tractors and tanks for the entire Soviet Union, what does the River Thames produce? I imagined that London was the most enormous factory producing the most expensive product in the world for rich people. This product is not material, it is respect. Real public respect, of course, cannot be bought with money. Real respect comes as a result of many good deeds and deeds. But there are many not very smart but very rich people in the world who want to quickly buy this respect for themselves. And the smart city of London realized that it could become the center of production of this treasure and produce it on a colossal scale. There are many people in the world who are ready to buy anything that somehow resembles symbols of respect. Being a part of London’s history is very expensive. With my artistic gaze, I see the smokestacks of an invisible RESPECT factory.
