I started this series of photos of her in Kharkiv in 2012, when I returned from Northern Norway, where I was in creative residence. In Norway, I was struck by the aurora borealis. I returned to Ukraine and began to look for such a glow not only where it should be according to the laws of nature, but where it can only be as an act of art. I called this fantastic series of photos “Anpolar Aurora” to make the glow free of polarities and extremes.
I want to see the glow of the ether, the rays of energy between us, the energy of life, the energy of beauty. These are existential experiences of signals of fate, expectations of signals. Fine-tuning the antenna of my soul allows you to capture these vibrations in photography, as if in documentary evidence of існування existence. I want to share my amazing love of life with people who can feel this poetic, creative energy.
