Even before I moved to Europe for a long time, I wondered about non-material and material values that any society or state can be proud of. As a muralist, I am really interested in what is a matter of national pride. Thinking about it, I came to the conclusion that all wars happen because these values are made up. All values are imposed, depend on the systemic education of society, and may even be accidental. The most important value that is really more precious than anything else in the world is the ability to set these values. The winner creates and imposes new values, he enjoys this power over the minds of new generations, it is priceless.

I saw the war in Ukraine with my own eyes, and in this context, I involuntarily project my attitude towards the material values that I encounter in Europe. It’s hard for me to put into words how I feel, so I took a series of photos that convey my existential feelings. I am afraid of the future because all those values of “my world” are losing their power and burning up before my eyes. I want you to see this, I want you to feel the process of old values disappearing, which are losing their power like the coals of a campfire.

If the values of the past lose their beauty in the invisible flame of change, then enjoy the beauty of this flame.
